Why come to the Staff Ombuds?

Our office was founded by the Office of the President to provide you with a free and confidential resource for dealing with work related issues. We operate off-the-record and have assisted more than 600 new and long-term UT employees, including supervisors and postdocs. Please call in advance and we will set up an appointment that is convenient for you. Please remember that email is not a confidential form of communication. We discourage its use.
